　　伊芙（乔安娜·伍德沃德 Joanne Woodward 饰）是一名平凡的家庭主妇，长久以来，她一直饱受抑郁、失眠和头痛的折磨，整个人形容枯槁，憔悴异常。最终，伊芙决定求助于医学，她找到了心理医生卢瑟（李·科布 Lee J.
